For those who are new to mp3

            Mp3's or Mpeg 3 are basically music files that u can play back on your computer . They differ from the normal .wav files in both size and quality . A normal .wav file will take up anywhere between 25 to 50 MB depending on the quality , whereas a mp3 takes up only 3 to 4 MB . And the sound quality is real good.

How to play mp3 files

            For playing mp3 files on your computer , you will need a mp3 player . Winamp is one of the most popular mp3 players . It is a cripple-free shareware , that is ..though it should be registered after some days , the program as such never expires .

Make your own mp3 files

              You can make your own mp3 files with the help of an encoder . We recommend  the L3 encoder. Dos - based and real simple to use . But first you need to have a song in the .wav format . L3 converts .wav files into .mp3 format .
               Also L3 can convert .mp3 into .wav back for you  .

Now the Bottom Line Mp3z are to be used for "evaluation" purposes only . It is obligatory for you to delete the mp3 within 24 hrs . This is bcos as mp3s provide CD-quality sound for free it takes away the money from the artists .
